Returns
Shipping damage: in the unlikely event that your order is damaged in transit, we will replace damaged goods at our cost. Please notify us within 10 business days from date of purchase and please provide us with snap photos of the damaged box and goods so we can pass that on to our shipper.

Dragonfly Dreaming Organics makes every reasonable attempt to fully describe our products, but we are aware that purchasing such (scent / feel) products over the internet can be challenging. We suggest that if you have any hesitancy about a scent or if you are particularly sensitive, you contact us directly so we can personally offer advice and suggestions. Given the nature of our products, we can only return certain items which are clearly unopened and unused (such as soap); several types of goods cannot be returned, including face creams, lotions, lip balms and salves, opened essential oils and gift cards. If you feel you would like to return an item, please contact us as quickly as possible, as if 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange in any case.

To be eligible for an approved return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase (not necessary in the case of a purchase through our web site).

Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain number of days.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items (if applicable)
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges (if applicable)
We will replace items if they are defective or damaged in transit. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at Dragonfly@dragonflydreaming.com and send your item to: PO Box 226, 3616 Garland Avenue Cobble Hill CA V0R 1L0.

Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, and you find it unsuitable to your needs, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Transit time will depend on where you live.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Dragonfly Dreaming® came to life in 1996 with the birth of a wee red-headed baby girl. Concern that she might inherit her Scottish Daddy's sensitive skin led us to creating, from scratch, lovely things to use on her skin - all plant based, with no petrochemicals, preservatives, nut or animal oils. Thus, we created the cutting edge in truly natural organic body care because back then, there was NOTHING chemical-free on the market!

Although most people thought we were a little bonkers, we were absolutely certain that by blending the distinctly different healing traditions of herbalism & aromatherapy, we could create effective plant-based natural organic body care products for both body and spirit. It all began in the forest and the herb garden...

Educating people about the potential effects of using commercial (chemical) skin care has been a core value of our work since we began 23 years ago. Our mantra 'the skin is the outside of the in' fell on deaf ears for a very, very long time, so it's gratifying to see that people are beginning to realize that what you put on your skin really does matter! 

We've been teaching workshops on scent, distillation and essential oils, natural perfume blending, herbalism and wildcrafting for the past two decades, and still try to work in a few sessions every summer. Check out our calendar, or give us a call if you'd like to join in.
